Using up sauces in the fridge before groceries are done.
electricity is going to be turned off in street today so no fridge or cooking. So i got up early and reheated the chicken before it goes off.
I am using up leftover things in fridge and freezer before groceries. This is 2 serves shown and half is for tomorrow’s meal. I just cooked the lot tonight as tomorrow’s temperatures are going to be even hotter so it will be a reheat tomorrow.
A simple marinade for chicken.
Indian feast first one this year. I tried a new recipe Saag Ghosht from Pinterest but I adapted it for 2 .
I also served it with homemade organic Chapati, butter chicken and Indian basmati rice.
I have been wanting to grill some kebabs and these are the perfect combination. If using bamboo skewers soak them first for a hour before threading marinated chicken or make into a bowl.
I had added more of the stock to this serve but it’s the same lunch as #09
