IndianFeast #12: Tikka Masala Beef

Indian feast #12 using up tikka Masala paste with Dover’s beef steak and pressure cooker with onion and fresh tomato with lactose free milk and coconut flour as I didn’t have coconut milk. Was lovely tender cooked for 25 min on fish setting. Served with steamed spinach, basmati rice, naan, yogurt, cucumber

i used Woolworths 24 Indian selection mix for entree which had vegetable samosa, vegetable pakora, onion bhajis. I got ingredients list from Pete Evans butter chicken simmer sauce label and cooked my own butter chicken with chicken breast and legs. Served the meal with mango chutney and basmati rice and garlic naan

Indian feast #10 using dr Michael Mosley recipe from the 8 week blood sugar diet cookbook and it was supposed to be served with cauliflower and almonds instead of rice which I totally forgot to do.

Indian feast #9

We visited relatives and had a very late lunch.

Impromptu Father’s Day lunch cooked in 25 minutes.

All I had to cook was rice and tikka chicken.

Indian Feast #8 for 2 people: Goila Butter Chicken by Sashi adapted by me, Coriander Rice, Mango Relish, Tomato Garlic Chili Chutney, Raita by Loki, Cucumber, Potato & Eggplant Fry by Loki Recipe adapted by me

 

Another Indian Feast. These are not my recipes this time except I had to adapt them to what I had avail in house. Most are MasterChef 2018 recipes. I adapted them by either using less ingredients as in Goila Butter Chicken by Sashi (my adapted recipe is minus the mace and tomatoes and I used powdered cardamom and tomato soup substitutes) and Potato Fry by Loki )I added Eggplant. I used pre-bought Chutney and relish, pappadum and naan instead of making my own. The basmati is served with Coriander through it which I haven’t added in photo. Continue reading

Indian Feast #7 for 2

Another homemade Indian Feast for 2. Made my own Madras Curry Beef Paste. I also made the pancakes and spiced rice and mint chutney. The rest of the meal was using bought items found in supermarkets.
