Bliss balls

homemade bliss balls are easy to do. 

I use my blender to mix ingredients all together and takes about 10min to do 1qty.

#1- coconut cranberry & almond

Ingredients makes 12 x 34gram balls

1/2 cup almond meal

1 cup pitted dates chopped

1/2 cup desiccated coconut

1Tb cocao powder

2Tb 100% Canadian maple syrup

1/4 cup Dried Cranberries

1Tb walnut oil

plus extra desiccated coconut (1/8 cup) to roll balls in.

Method:

have a tray or plate lined with baking paper or foil that will fit into your freezer

have a bowl with the extra coconut ready to roll balls in at the end

Chop dates into 3rds .

Place all ingredients except for extra coconut in food processor/mixer

and mix well until mixture is sticky enough to roll into a ball (about 3 minutes )

roll 2tsp mixture into a ball with your palms then roll in extra coconut

Place on tray and freeze for about a hour. Then store in container with lid in fridge.
