Sauces: AIP marinara


I saw this recipe on Pinterest and wrote down the ingredients to make. It taste nothing like marinara but is a tomatoless sauce.

You can add herbs (thyme, oregano, parsley) to make it a little more flavourful which I will do when I will use it. I used fresh basil for this from my Vegepod.

I simmered it on low until vegetables were nearly cooked then put it in the soup maker and pressed blend and was done in 5 minutes.

I used organic carrot, organic celery, organic beet.
