Dinner #07: Slow cooker: Turkey pot roast

 

Cooked in slow cooker on low for 4 hours, my first one pot roast. It was frozen when added to pot.

Ingredients serves 8@100g serve or 4@200g

1kg Steggles Turkey Breast roast

2 large organic carrot

6 large button mushroom

1Tb kepjap manis

1Tb lite soy

1 Tb rosemary

1Tb parsley

1tsp raw sugar

1tsp djon

2Tb olive oil

pinch sea-salt

pinch black pepper

1/2 cup water

Method :

Place sauce ingredients into slow cooker and mix well

Add turkey and coat all sides

Cut carrots and mushrooms and place around the roast

Put lid on and turn pot to low with power on, cook 4 hours.

We had unexpected visitors so used more serves up with steamed vegetables & gravy
