My Bliss Balls

Paleo bliss balls are a great healthy snack. I decided to give it a go and make my own. Really good! To my surprise I had all the ingredients available in stock and used what I had. You could use other combinations such as coconut and dried apricots, cacao and nuts just to name a few. They remind me of the fruit balls I used to make with weetbix and sweetened condensed milk. These are much healthier as all natural ingredients..











Ingredients serves 8 balls

1 cup whole almonds

1/4cup coconut chips

2Tb paleo protein mix

2Tb cocao powder

2atb rice malt syrup

1tb organic honey

2Tb black & white chia seeds to roll in


Add almond and coconut chips to blender and pulse until fine then add them  to mixing bowl with remaining ingredients except chia seeds. I wear disposable gloves to roll the mixture into balls (approx  1tb mixture ) then have a 2nd bowl with chia seeds and roll the balls in chia seeds. Place in airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1hr. Enjoy!

Ingredients makes 12 balls

1 cup Muesli

1Tb Manuka Honey

1/2 cup  almonds

1tsp cinnamon


Place all ingredients in blender and blitz until smooth and all comes together

Then roll in to balls using 1tsp mixture per ball.

Chill in freezer for 1hour

Store in covered container .
