Smoothies

I have been looking at smoothie bowls for a while but never made one until today  I am doing mine in different forms :  smoothie mugs, smoothie bowl, smoothie cups. So good for a hot day. Can be a snack or main meal . Breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Smoothie Mug #1 : Berries : 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries, 1/4 cup zymil lactose-free milk, 2 ice cubes, 1/4 cup no fat yoplait yogurt. Topping: Black and white chia seeds, dark chocolate 90% cacao, walnuts. Method : Put all smoothie ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth, Pour into large mug, Then carefully add toppings starting with chia seeds then walnuts then grate the chocolate.

Smoothie Bowl #1: Vegepod Greens: 1 handful of each from vegepod: Curly parsley, beet leaves, chives, kale, bok choy leaves, mesclun leaves, 1tsp green powder (blend of Spirulina, barley grass, wheat grass, chlorella and stevia), 1 avocado *reserve 1/4 for topping), 2 ice cubes, 1 cup coconut water, Topping : 1/4 avocado cubed, 1tsp paleo protein mix (Which is a mix of 86% seeds and 14% almonds). Method :Place all except topping in blender and blitz until smooth. Topping: avocado and paleo protein mix

Smoothie Mug #2: Blackberry Smoothie: 1/2 cup lactose free low fat milk with 1/2 cup blackberries and 2 ice cubes, Method : Place all ingredients in blender and blitz

Smoothie Cup #1: Beetroot Smoothie: 1/4 cup berries, 1tsp beetroot powder, 2Tb Yogurt, 1/2 cup coconut water, 1/2 banana. Method: Place all ingredients into blender and blitz until smooth.
