I like a good soup broth and this one didn’t dissapoint. Asians have egg drop soup. This is similar without the egg or sesame seeds. This is my version with what I had available at the time of making this dish.
Ingredients Serves 2
2 chicken thighs boneless/skinfree
1 chicken stock pot
1 green shallot
1cm ginger fresh. Sliced thin
1tsp tamari gluten free soy
1tsp tamari soy
1-2c water (just enough to cover 1/2 thigh)
Slice shallot and ginger thin piece
Place in saucepan with remainig ingredients except green parts of shallot *keep for garnish and break up stock pot do its evenly distributed in pan. Cook until boiling then turn chicken and cover pan with lid. reduce heat to low simmer and continue to cook until chicken is cooked through. Serve with broth. Sprinkle green part of shallot on top.
