I love gravy and this homemade one doesn’t disappoint. It was a pure experiment that worked. I will be referring back to this one in future recipes.
Ingredients serves 2
1/4 onion diced
1 beef stock pot or use fresh
1tsp wholeseeded mustard
1tsp honey mustard
1Tb balsamic vinegar
1tsp tomato sauce or ketchup
1/4tsp smoked paprika
Place all ingredients in saucepan and simmer until onion is cooked and sauce thickens
Strain sauce with a sieve over the gravy/sauce jug.
Reserve onion for caramelised onion for another dish
